Polar Expedition Consultations

GeoWorld Travel runs geology group tours  to Antarctica and Greenland & Svalbard, every two to three years. If you would like to visit the polar regions at other times, it is also possible to arrange a short consultation with James Cresswell, Director of GeoWorld Travel. During this discussion he can advise on other suitable polar expedition voyages that you may wish to join independently of the main GeoWorld Travel group departures.

Prior to establishing GeoWorld Travel in 2012, James spent around ten years working as a geologist guide for Oceanwide Expeditions. During that time he travelled extensively on expedition vessels, including 38 Antarctic voyages and around 40 Arctic voyages, as well as expeditions to remote mid-Atlantic islands such as Tristan da Cunha, Saint Helena and Ascension Island.

James can use this experience to offer you advice on which voyages have significant geological interest and can then help you book on these voyages. If you decide to join one of these expeditions, booking through GeoWorld Travel will not cost you anything additional. The price is exactly the same as booking directly with Oceanwide Expeditions, and all bookings are made directly with the expedition operator.
