Speaking
In addition to leading geology-focused travel, GeoWorld Travel offers professional public speaking by its founder, James Cresswell. Drawing on a long background in geological guiding and science communication, James gives talks that explain landscapes, Earth processes, and geological stories in a clear and engaging way for non-specialist audiences.
James’s experience in public speaking developed during his earlier career as a geologist aboard expedition cruise ships, where he delivered regular lectures to international audiences. He now continues this work through talks for geological clubs, societies, educational groups, and general interest organisations.
Speaking engagements can be delivered in person, typically within around two hours’ travel of James’s home in Wales, or online, allowing talks to be given to audiences worldwide via Zoom or similar platforms. Practical arrangements and fees are discussed on an individual basis.
Further details, including talk titles and examples, can be found on James Cresswell’s website
